Quirrel, Lochart, Lupin, Moody, Umbrige, Snape and Carrow all lasted for one year Quirrel Voldemorts fault.
There was one good teacher Lupin although Moody would have been.

I agree,my fav defence against the dark arts teacher is Mad-Eye Moody because he took harry out of his house which he liked because he was with those terrible vernon and petunia.
